I started collecting Lyle Overbay Game Used Items shortly after meeting him in 2006. I was standing outside the gates of the Jays Spring Training Stadium when the players were leaving in their cars. With a small parking lot to get out  , the players would often get hung up because of traffic. Lyle was the only one that actuall rolled down his window to sign for me.
After I told him it was my first Spring Trainging Trip , he asked me where I was from and we actually had a nice conversation all the while holding up traffic, lol.
